Art at Los Medanos College

It's a short slide show. Click it to see art! We have drawing classes, and they are way cool. One is Rebecca Talley's 2-D Design class (Art-10). These are a few recent projects her students created. They come in knowing a little, and in a few weeks are making stuff like this.

Paintings by Nick Borges and Cara Tomlinson are on display in the Los Medanos Art Gallery from October 7 to November 4, 2010. They're all not pictures of things, but rather paintings that are art. Does that sound frightening? You should come check them out, because even if you won't admit it, you know you are tired of paintings of, as my students call it, "scenery."

Yes, the Art Staff Exhibit 2010 is over now, but here's a photo or two anyway. That's Lucy Snow's sculpture and David David Tallitsch's drawing. This time I'm tossing in one of my pieces, instead of leaving them out and only showing other peoples stuff. So there. Curtis Corlew's photo below.
