Faculty show not so bad

The Annual Faculty Art Show was the first show in the new LMC Art Gallery. Located in the new library, it's a wonderful space full of light, and now full of art. Lucy Snow, the latest addition to the department made cool stuff and hung it from the ceiling. The other faculty members didn't make anything as large, or that moved in the breeze. Still, her fellow instructors are still speaking to her.

Student Art Show

We have artists. We have artists who win awards. We have Elizabeth Newcomb's Iguana (box #3), that won the the Three Dimensional Art Best of Category award. Other winners include: Debbie Gonzalez, Photograph David L. Flood in the Art Department

Flood in the Art Department , originally uploaded by losmedanosart . Over the Thanksgiving break there was a water leak in the Art area. It covered the floors with 1" of water. It also got into the offices. They smell swell now. We have fans and heaters running. Art goes on. We will not be stopped!
